A house was destroyed by fire in the 2000 block of Kirkpatrick Street Saturday evening.
According to Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Lt. Payton Rogers, the structure was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, but everyone was able to safely evacuate from the residence. Two adults will be displaced and the Red Cross was called to assist.
No one was injured in the blaze.
