A Hopkinsville woman is facing several charges in relation to a robbery that occurred on Park Avenue earlier this week.
According to the Hopkinsville police report, the incident occurred Tuesday night and during an interview with law enforcement, 21-year-old Chynna Berleck allegedly stated she helped lure the victim to her home to help her with something. That’s when an accomplice hit the victim on the head and robbed him.
The male victim was then reportedly held at gun point and forced to drive to a different location in an attempt to get more money. He sustained injuries to his face and was treated at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Berlack was arrested and charged with complicity to first-degree robbery, complicity to second-degree assault and complicity to kidnapping of an adult.
