Downtown Hopkinsville will transform into a trick-or-treat alley on Halloween with local businesses and organizations lining up to give out candy, and to make it all possible Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation announced what roads will be closed on Tuesday.
With trick-or-treating set to take over Main Street, traffic and parking on the street will be prohibited from 6th Street to 13th Street. All Main Street entry roads between 6th Street and 13th Street will also be blocked.
Along with Main Street, traffic and parking on 9th Street will also be prohibited from Bethel Street to Virginia Street.
The roads will close at 3 p.m. and reopen to traffic at 6 p.m. with downtown trick-or-treating taking place from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
