The Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association selected Faye Hendricks as the Region 2 Player of the Year.
Coach Hendricks and her Lady Blazer squad have had a dominant season to say the least with a record of 34-2. The team has also gone 20-0 against region opponents.
After winning the 8th district championship, Hendricks has led UHA to six straight district championships.
In the first round of the 2nd Region Tournament, UHA defeated Livingston Central on Monday and will play Henderson Co. on Wednesday for a spot in the Region Championship game.
