Since 1989, women’s service organization, Junior Auxiliary of Hopkinsville has hosted their annual Taster’s Luncheon and this year’s luncheon is set to give attendees a taste of fall this Friday.
Junior Auxiliary is a service organization that focuses on working toward benefitting local nonprofits and being involved in social, educational, civic and cultural activities in the community.
Luncheon Co-coordinator, Liz Grahm appeared on WHOP to share the details for the event and what is on the menu. Since they are hosting the luncheon in fall, Grahm says they will feature many different soups, casseroles, meats and desserts.
Tickets start at $8 which grant people entry to the luncheon at 11:30 a.m., but $10 VIP tickets will allow attendees to enter at 11 a.m. Grahm says tickets can be bought through any Junior Auxiliary member or at the door on the day of the luncheon.
Grahm says the funds the organization raises from the luncheon will go toward the Hopkinsville Boxing Club.
For those who are interested in attending and supporting the organization but might be able to stay at the event long, Grahm says attendees can prepare to-go plates.
The luncheon will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church.
