The Christian County Public School System is putting on a hiring event on October 28—a “Road-eo” to try and round up additional bus drivers for the district.
That event will get underway at the Stadium of Champions parking lot starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, October 28, but before that, Superintendent Chris Bentzel says he is hopeful the Christian County School Board will pass additional bus driver incentives at Thursday’s meeting.
He says they’re looking find more permanent substitute bus drivers, to help fill in when their standard bus drivers need to take time off.
There will be staff on site on October 28 to answer questions, provide assistance and more information on available positions, and there will be food on hand. Interested drivers must be at least 21-years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
