With the ninth annual Hoptown Holiday Hopfest approaching in November, the Pennyroyal Arts Council unveiled that Nashville based country band Lonestar will be performing at the at event which serves to benefit the Alhambra Theatre.
In a news release, Council Executive Director Margaret Prim says in the past the Hopfest has been major fundraising event and this year they need funds to make repairs to theater equipment that was damaged due to lightning strikes.
From the past Hopfest’s nearly $100,000 has been raised in support of the theatre. Tickets are $50 and on sale at pennyroyalarts.org.
