Freedom Elementary School Improvement Coach, Heather Carden has been selected among 21 educators statewide as an ambassador to state education initiative, GoTeachKY.
According to a news release from the Kentucky Department of Education GoTeachKY is an initiative that serves to ensure that all students across the state have equitable access to effective educators and serves to recruit the next generation of teachers.
By promoting teaching as a profession, the initiative works toward alleviating the teacher shortage in Kentucky.
