The Clarksville Police Department is investigating after a child was hit by a vehicle on Tiny Town Road Thursday afternoon.
According to a news release, the 11-year-old male was taken to a Nashville hospital by helicopter, and he was later listed in good condition and expected to be released.
The crash happened around 5:15 p.m. on Tiny Town at Jockey Drive as the 11-year-old was attempting to cross the road and was struck by a vehicle that was traveling eastbound. The roadway was shut down for several hours as investigators were on scene.
The names of those involved have not been released.
