Two charged in connection with Russellville Road robbery

Two Hopkinsville residents have been charged in relation to a robbery that took place Friday morning at the Circle K gas station on Russellville Road. 

According to the police report, 31-year-old Jamarvis Allen of Oak Grove is facing a charge of second-degree robbery and tampering with physical evidence, after he allegedly snatched money from her hand and fled. Video surveillance allegedly shows him taking the money and running away. 

Police have also charged 32-year-old Darla Boyd of Hopkinsville with tampering with physical evidence, receiving stolen property and obstruction/interference with an officer in relation to the incident. The arrest report states she was a passenger in the vehicle with Allen and that she sent messages to someone saying the money was gone and police wouldn’t find it, while telling officers she didn’t know anything about the money.
