Christian County School Board member Tiffany Mumford-Brame has resigned her District 2 board seat, as announced by Christian County Public Schools.
According to a news release, the pending resignation will be voted on to be accepted at the next regularly scheduled board meeting set for October 19. After that, the vacancy will be advertised for two weeks, during which interested applicants should complete an application and submit a letter of intent to the Board of Education, affirming they meet all requirements.
Mumford-Brame was elected to represent District 2—which includes the southeast side of Christian County and Pembroke Elementary and Martin Luther King Jr Elementary Schools—in 2020.
Board Chair Tom Bell says, “We appreciate Ms. Mumford-Brame’s service and dedication to Christian County Schools. It has been a pleasure to serve on the Board with her. She has a genuine passion for education and for our community. The Board wishes Ms. Mumford-Brame all the best in her next endeavor.”
