Jennie Stuart Health is welcoming two physicians to the team at Jennie Stuart—Dr. Mackenzie Denton and Dr. Shea Godwin.
According to a news release, Dr. Denton is a Hopkinsville native returning to begin practice as a family medicine physician. She is passionate about health promotion and preventive care within the pediatric, adult, and geriatric population. Dr. Denton will serve patients from the Jennie Stuart Family Health location at 105 Keeton Drive in Hopkinsville.
Then Dr. Godwin, a board-certified family medicine physician with over 15 years of experience. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, she has been working full-time in emergency medicine to help with the COVID response. Dr. Godwin will see new patients at Jennie Stuart Health’s new 227 Burley Avenue Family Health location in Hopkinsville.
Jennie Stuart Health CEO Eric Lee says, “With the addition of Dr. Denton, we’re adding capacity for patients at our Keeton Drive Family Health location; with the addition of Dr. Godwin, we’re establishing a new convenient location for care for more patients.
