Details have been released by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office about a wreck on Pembroke Road Tuesday afternoon that sent a Crofton man to a Nashville hospital.
According to the collision report, a vehicle operated by 73-year-old Bobby Merrick of Princeton was attempting to pull out of a driveway in the 4600 block of Pembroke Road and pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Keith Radford of Crofton. Merrick reportedly told deputies he just didn’t see the oncoming vehicle.
Radford had to be extricated from the vehicle, and reportedly had an apparent broken leg, along with several other injuries. He was flown to Skyline Medical Center for treatment. A two-year-old in Radford’s vehicle was assessed for injuries at the scene, and taken to the hospital by private vehicle for evaluation.
A third vehicle driven by 41-year-old Timothy Mumford of Hopkinsville was struck by debris from the wreck, but he was not injured.
