Dust off those costumes and break out the Jack-O’-Lantern bucket, because it’s time to start thinking about Halloween with the return of downtown trick-or-treating in Hopkinsville.
It will take place on the big day itself; Tuesday, October 31 and Rachel Sanders with Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation says it all kicks off at 3:30 p.m. on Main Street in downtown Hopkinsville.
It is free to participate and Sanders says if you are a business or agency that wants to give out some candy to little ghouls and goblins that day, let Parks and Recreation know.
The event is traditionally very well attended, with costumes of all types seen walking the streets. For more information about downtown trick-or-treating, or any of the many events Parks and Recreation has upcoming, give them a visit on the Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
