The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating a theft that occurred on West Seventh Street Friday.
According to the police report, an unknown suspect or suspects entered the residence in the 1400 block of West Seventh and stole numerous personal information, including social security cards, medical cards and more, along with checks and check books.
The total value of the stolen items was estimated at $1,053 and the incident is being investigated as felony theft.
