There is a slight risk of severe weather this afternoon and evening for portions of Christian, Todd and Trigg counties, and then thunderstorms will remain possible into Thursday.
That’s according to the National Weather Service in Paducah, who says severe storms will be possible mainly during the evening across the area, with isolated large hail and damaging winds the primary threats. The risk of a tornado is low, but not zero.
Then, thunderstorms remain possible Thursday morning, with a few storms possibly linger into the evening, where lightning and gusty winds will be the main concern.
Stay tuned to the WHOP Family of Stations for any watches of warnings that may develop with this storm system.
