Longtime business owner Alfred “Bobo” Cravens passes away

Longtime local business owner Alfred P. “Bobo” Cravens has passed away at the age of 92. 

Cravens was the owner of Blue Streak Printers for over 50 years and owned several properties in downtown Hopkinsville—he also served in the United States Marine Corp and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in business. He played an active role in the community as a member of the Kiwanis Club of Hopkinsville and he served as a board member with the Salvation Army. 

As such, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Salvation Army of Hopkinsville. 

Funeral services for Cravens will be 1 p.m. on Saturday at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday starting at 11 a.m.
