The Knights of Columbus will be hosting a golf scramble in October and they’re putting out the call for golfers and sponsors to help them raise funds to support the community.
Grand Knight Richard Hornbeak appeared on WHOP recently and says this is their biggest fundraiser of the year, and this will be the 18th time they’ve hosted this golf scramble. He says all money raised goes to benefit their many efforts, including Alpha Alternative, food baskets during the holidays, food distribution with Aaron McNeil and much more.
Golfers will be competing for more than just bragging rights—prize money is up for grabs, along with numerous other prizes throughout the event.
The first hole-in-one at Hole 16 alone will win $500—Hornbeak says that hasn’t happened in the history of the scramble, but anything is possible.
Entry fees, donations and sponsorships can be mailed to Hornbeak at P.O. Box 1215, Hopkinsville, Kentucky 42241. Any checks can be made out to Knights of Columbus County Number 7847.
