The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating the theft of jewelry, a safe and other personal property from a North Elm Street home.
According to the police report, an unknown suspect entered the residence sometime Friday afternoon and stole a safe from inside that contained multiple items of jewelry, financial documents, personal information and money.
The items stolen were valued at $10,581. No suspects are listed on the report and the incident is being investigating as second-degree burglary.
