The Todd County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Hopkinsville man with drug trafficking following a traffic stop Sunday.
According to the sheriff’s department, Deputy Derek Baumann observed a vehicle reportedly disregard a traffic control device at U.S. 68-80 and Highway 181 and a traffic stop was conducted. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Jordan Foster of Hopkinsville, and a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted.
That search reportedly revealed 135 units of psilocybin mushrooms and a large amount of money.
Foster was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and other violations.
