First degree assault suspect, Bobbie Dupin of Hopkinsville appeared in Christian Circuit Court for a pretrial conference on Wednesday where his case continues to move toward being resolved.
Dupin is in court after allegedly striking a female victim in the face while wearing a pair of brass knuckles, knocking her unconscious in April. The victim had to be transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
In court, both Dupin’s Defense Attorney Darin Higgs and Christian Commonwealth’s Attorney Stephanie Bolen say they need to confirm some case details with the alleged victim before the case can be resolved.
Dupin is set to reappear in court on October 18.
