A pedestrian was injured in a collision at Kroger in Madisonville Monday afternoon.
According to a news release from the Madisonville Police Department, it happened in the parking lot of Kroger near the front entrance when a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Johnny Eden of Madisonville was heading east in the parking lot. Eden reportedly stated he was waving to a friend and did not see 69-year-old Regina Bowles of Madisonville he was walking towards the entrance.
Eden reportedly did try and stop when he saw her, but was unable to do so in time and struck her.
Bowles was transported to Baptist Health Deaconess for treatment of injuries. Eden was not injured.
