The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County is stepping back in time for one night, as they look to raise funds to support restoring the iconic clock tower downtown.
According to a news release, the Back to the Future inspired event will take place October 6 and the block party will feature a live performance by Mixtape—80’s Tribute Band. The set list is designed to take attendees back in time, featuring music from artists such as Journey, Bon Jovi, Toto, Huey Lewis & The News, Van Halen, REO Speedwagon, Chicago, Peter Gabriel and many more.
The block party kicks off at 6 p.m. on Liberty Street next door to the Pennyroyal Area Museum. The street and the museum will be transformed with with fresh decorations, delicious food, signature cocktails, a photo booth and local memorabilia of the era.
Tickets are $50 per person for the show. Reserved tables with premier seating for 10 people are available for $600. All proceeds support the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County, its mission, and its efforts to save the Town Clock.
