Hopkinsville man charged with several counts of drug trafficking

The Christian County Sheriff’s Department has charged a Hopkinsville man on numerous drug trafficking charges. 

According to the police report, deputies executed a search warrant at a location on Hancock Street Thursday. They reportedly discovered nearly four grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, suboxone strips and pills, synthetic marijuana, marijuana, two unmarked pills and a 9-millimeter handgun—43-year-old James Ferrell allegedly claimed ownership of all items.

He was arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in opiates, trafficking in synthetic drugs, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
