Kentucky State Police are investigating after a man was killed in a shooting incident in Logan County on Friday morning.
According to a news release from State Police, 56-year-old Timothy Wright of Auburn was shot after he forcibly entered the residence of his ex-wife, Janice Wright.
During Timothy Wright’s forcible entry, Janice Wright reportedly retrieved a firearm and a struggle between the pair followed which resulted in a round being discharged from the firearm and striking Timothy Wright.
Timothy Wright was declared deceased at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
