A new pavilion was unveiled at the Jeffers Bend Environmental Center at a dedication ceremony on Friday.
Members from the Jeffers Bend Steering Committee, Christian Fiscal Court and the Hopkinsville Water Environment Authority (HWEA) attended and spoke at Friday’s dedication.
Christian County Judge Executive Jerry Gilliam says he appreciates the creation of this gathering space and knows the community will too.
Closing out the dedication, Reverend Cliff Hunt conducted a prayer of dedication, highlighting the significance of the pavilion to the public.

The new pavilion stands next to the pavilion that was unveiled in 2021 at the Environmental Center.
