At the Madisonville Classic cross country meet on Saturday
Christian County and Hopkinsville HS cross country teams both competed.
For girls’ varsity 76 runners finished the race.
Hopkinsville’s Lauren Mayes lead with at 14th place on the hilly course,
next came Lexis Herrera Loveto 35th followed by Evelyn Bandart in 65th.
For Christian County Taylor Morris was 22nd, Juila Munoz finished 59th and Haddasssuh Elkins placed 69th.
For the boys varsity, with 155 runners Christian County boys had a full team and placed 5th in the meet.
Christian Counties’ Micheal Webb lead his team in 13th place, Wyatt
Fleming 23rd , J. T. Miles was next in 52nd, Cayden Cline 55th in front of Hector Munoz 61st Joseph Parker followed in 69th , Aiden Knepper was 82nd and Nolan Long 93rd , Ben Hightower finished up the boys team in 133rd ,
Hopkinsville boys were lead by Tyson Cavinder, Nicholas Herrera 124th, Cameron Ezell 129th and Ben Jackson 132nd.
In the Middle School race 62 girls competed.
