The Christian County Cattleman’s Association is presenting their annual Lone Star Championship Rodeo on Friday and Saturday at the West Kentucky Fairgrounds.
Association member Brandon Garnett appeared on WHOP to talk about the festivities set for the weekend, the concert addition and how the proceeds will support students in Christian County.
After each night following Lone Star’s traveling rodeo show, Nashville country artist Harry Luge is set to take the stage.
Garnett says the concert will add to the festivities by giving attendees something to look forward to after the rodeo.
Along with the concert. There will be events catered toward the youth such as a kids gold rush, chuck wagon racing and much more.
A cornerstone of the annual rodeo is benefiting the community. Garnett says at last year’s rodeo around $20,000 was raised for students in the county and he says they plan to so the same with this year’s proceeds.
Adult tickets are $20 and for those twelve to four years old tickets are $12 and, on both days, the Lone Star Rodeo starts at 7:30 p.m.
