The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating after the BP gas station on West Seventh Street was robbed at gunpoint early Thursday morning.
According to the incident report, an unknown male suspect entered the gas station at the corner of West Seventh and North Drive a little after midnight and brandished a handgun. The suspect then forcefully took an undisclosed amount of money from the register.
No suspects or suspect description is listed on the report and the incident is being investigated as first-degree robbery.
