Hopkinsville police are investigating after a man went to Jennie Stuart Health with a gunshot wound to the foot Tuesday afternoon.
That’s according to HPD Public Information Officer Collette Marfill, who says the male victim was dropped off at Jennie Stuart Medical Center around noon Tuesday with a gunshot to the foot. Investigation determined the injury was allegedly the result of an altercation between the victim and another male.
The victim, identified as Samuel Sivils, is listed in stable condition.
Steven Black was arrested and charged with first-degree assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
