Christian County’s football team had their first opportunity to play someone not wearing a Colonels uniform as they traveled to Bowling Green this past Friday to scrimmage against Warren Central.
The format was 10 plays on and off for offense and defense so score was not recorded, but Colonel head coach Zach Self gave his thoughts on the evening.
Senior Jerry Foster also gave his positive and negative takeaways from the scrimmage.
Towards the latter half of the scrimmage, junior varsity players took the field, and the energy from the Colonels sideline erupted as the varsity players cheered their teammates on.
Senior JaSean Riley explained his excitement while watching his younger teammates from the sideline.
Christian Co. will have another scrimmage on Friday, August 11, in a jamboree styled event at Fort Campbell where they will face Northwest at 5:00 PM and Kenwood at 7:00 PM.
