The Todd County Sheriff’s Office assisted in a vehicle pursuit that began in Logan County and ended with an arrest early Sunday morning.
Deputies joined in on the ongoing vehicle pursuit on Russellville Road around 12 a.m. and Deputy Derek Baumann was able to successfully deploy spike strips on the fleeing vehicle. The vehicle was stopped near Doctor Boyles Road and the suspect, Jimmie Browder of Springfield, Tennessee, fled on foot.
He was quickly apprehended and charged with two counts of fleeing or evading police, possession of a controlled substance, wanton endangerment, driving on a suspended license and several traffic violations.
