UHA Girls’ Golf win McLean Co. Invitational, Boys finish in top 10

The UHA boys and girls golf teams competed in the McLean Co. Invitational at the Panther Creek Golf Course yesterday and the girls won the tournament after being led by Conlee Lindsey who put up a score of 74 which was tied for 1st place. She did end up dropping to 2nd after falling in a playoff hole for the sole number one spot.

For other players on the team, Allie Sandifer had a 97, Campbell Lindsey shot a 99 and Caroline Tucker finished with a 117.

For the boys they ended up shooting a team score of 324 which put them in 8th place.

The Blazers were led by Hayden Hunt who shot a 74 which was 10th in the individual standings, Cal Givens had an 80, Jaxin Pollock finished with an 83, and Courtland Gibson ended up with a score of 89.

Both the boys and the girls teams at UHA will be competing in the Christian Co. Invitational starting Friday morning on August 4th.
