Crofton’s Dawg Days of Summer event kicks off on Friday

With their 28th annual Dawg Days of Summer event right around the corner, the Crofton Volunteer Fire Department invites the community to enjoy some live tunes, food truck eats a car show and much more.

Starting on Friday the festivities begin at 5 p.m. with a cruise-in car show, a local vendor fair and live music by band Country Twang.

Saturday’s festivities kick off at 11 a.m. with ATV rides, a local vendor fair and continue into the evening with live music by band Full Circle at 4 p.m. and a physical auction at 6 p.m. with a cake auction set to follow.

To enter a car in the show there is a $20 fee and ATV rides cost $20 per ATV and $10 for an extra rider. Riders will be able to register for ATV rides starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Food trucks and bounce houses will be on site throughout the event.

The Dawg Days of Summer event will be hosted at 120 East Main St near the Crofton Volunteer Fire Department. There is no event entry free.
