Deputies arrest man for stolen vehicle, meth possession

A man was arrested in Christian County on Saturday after he was allegedly found to be in possession of a stolen vehicle and meth.

Deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office were searching for 27-year-old Blake Dakota Moore who was wanted for multiple warrants.

According to an arrest citation from K9 Deputy Josh Strauch, deputies were in North Christian County at a house in the 1600 block on Empire Road on Saturday night.

Deputies located the vehicle, which was stolen out of Madisonville, and found meth on the dashboard. Moore was located on the outskirts of a woodsy area near the vehicle afterward.

Moore reportedly confirmed he was in possession of the stolen car and the meth. He was charged with receiving stolen property, possession of meth and he was served with five Hopkins and Union County warrants.
