The Todd County Rescue Squad is celebrating 50 years of service to their community, and they were recognized by Todd Fiscal Court Friday morning.
Todd County Judge-Executive Todd Mansfield read a resolution celebrating the occasion, saying the dedicated volunteers of the Todd County Rescue Squad have helped innumerous residents and families in Todd County since their inception 50 years ago, and they can’t be thanked enough.
The Todd County Rescue Squad will be celebrating the milestone on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. with a free event at 185 Moe Lane in Elkton.
There will be law enforcement and first responder vehicles on hand, food vendors and family activities, from bounce houses to live music that begins at 11 a.m. with the 41A Band.
