Appliances stolen, items damaged in West 17th burglary

A residence on West 17th Street was reportedly broken into recently and had damage done and several items stolen from inside.

According to the report from the Hopkinsville Police Department, suspects—who are not listed on the report—broke into the property using force sometime between Thursday of last week and Wednesday.

While inside, they reported caused damages to a bathroom and then unlawfully took a stove and an air conditioner.  Altogether, the damages and the items stolen are valued at $1,650.

The incident is being investigated a second-degree burglary, felony theft and criminal mischief.
