Local man charged with felony auto theft

Hopkinsville police have charged an Elkton man with felony auto theft in relation to a motorcycle theft that occurred in February of this year.

According to the police report, 24-year-old Eddie Juckett of Elkton allegedly assisted another person in unlawfully taking a motorcycle that did not belong to them and without permission. He and the other suspect reportedly stopped to assist the victim in pulling the motorcycle out of a ditch, with Juckett operating the motorcycle.

After it was out of the ditch, he allegedly rode away on it. During the investigation, it was found that the motorcycle was later wrecked on Froghop Road

Jucket was arrested and charged with felony theft of an automobile. He was additionally served with a warrant for failure to appear in court on numerous other charges.
