An Eddyville woman was injured after a tree fell on her vehicle during severe weather Tuesday in Lyon County.
According to a news release, it occurred on KY 730 East, roughly five miles southeast of Eddyville, when 64-year-old Sally Tyler of Eddyville was driving a vehicle east bound during active severe weather. Due to the storm, trees began falling into the roadway.
Tyler was able to avoid the first tree the fell in the roadway, but a second tree fell and landed on her vehicle, crushing in the roof.
Tyler was transported to Baptist Health Paducah for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
