Kentucky Republican Gubernatorial candidate Daniel Cameron, and his Lieutenant Governor running mate, State Senator Robby Mills made a pitstop at the Christian County Republican Party Headquarters on Friday to talk with community members about their campaign.
Cameron says he believes Kentuckians are realizing that their livelihoods are at stake.
If elected as governor, Cameron says his actions will reflect Kentuckian values.
Mills who will be on the ballot with Cameron, further talked about what he believes Kentuckians need. Mills says the current governor, Andy Beshear governs by himself and does not work with fellow Kentuckians.
Beyond diving into their politics, the pair also talked about the issues they believe Kentuckians face that are at the top of their lists to tackle.
Cameron says he wants to remove the current Kentucky Commissioner of Education, Jason Glass, from his position.
Along with education Cameron wants to focus on law enforcement and locate a Kentucky State Police Department in Jefferson County where he says there are high rates of violent crime.
Cameron and Mills will be on the ballot alongside incumbent opponent Gov. Andy Beshear for Kentucky’s gubernatorial election on November 7.
