A motorcyclist was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville Wednesday afternoon following a collision at Old Major Lane and Canton Street.
According to the Hopkinsville police report, a vehicle driven by Jacquelyn Bell of Cadiz stopped at the stop sign at Canton Street from Old Major and told officers she did not see a motorcycle that was heading east on Canton. She then pulled out into the intersection to cross to Pyle Lane and into the motorcyclist’s path.
The two collided. The driver of the motorcycle, Roger Jaspeh of Hopkinsville, had obvious injuries to his face, and he complained of pain in his shoulders, face and head. He was flown to Skyline for treatment.
Bell was not injured. Everyone involved was either wearing a seat belt, or a helmet.
