Kiwanis Club works to support the Pennyrile Walk to End Alzheimer’s

The Hopkinsville Kiwanis Club highlighted the Pennyrile Walk to End Alzheimer’s on September 23 at their Thursday meeting.

Beyond spotlighting the event the club is working toward raising money and spreading awareness of the event.

Charter Senior Living Director of Sales and Marketing, Ashton Winfield says there will be an Alzheimer’s Walk Kickoff next Tuesday which is set to for people to register, make teams and brainstorm fundraising ideas.

Along with the kickoff event, walkers are able to register and donate to the event at act.alz.org/hopkinsville. The donation goal is $45,000.

Marketing Director of United Southern Bank and club member Martha Argotte shared details regarding the day of the walk set to start at the Christian County Justice Center.

The funds raised for the mile-long Walk to End Alzheimer’s will go toward the research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
