Republican governor candidate Daniel Cameron discusses drug abuse, crime in Kentucky

After receiving the Republican Gubernatorial election nomination, Daniel Cameron affirms his platform and says he plans to counter the problems he believes Kentuckians face if elected as governor.

As Attorney General, Cameron says he has played a role in raising awareness of the dangers of Fentanyl and Opioid abuse. As Governor, if elected, Cameron says he will continue to work on raising awareness, and bring people together in order to come to a solution.

In response to shootings in Kentucky, Cameron plans to strengthen the presence of law enforcement in higher populated cities where he says there is more crime.

Cameron reaffirms his stance against what he calls the current Democratic agenda, recently opposing the idea of eliminating AM radio from new vehicles.

Cameron’s name will be on the ballot alongside his incumbent opponent Gov. Andy Beshear for Kentucky’s gubernatorial election on November 7.
