Christmas came early to the Planters Bank-Jennie Stuart Health Sportsplex in Hopkinsville, as vendors of all types filled the space.
People were able to peruse the aisle and view all types of homemade and handcrafted items, and Coordinator Tony Henson says there was something for everyone there that day, from wind chimes to jewelry, to wooden toys and quilts and everything in between.
He says it was a great turnout for their third annual Christmas in July, and it was also the biggest.
Henson says this is a great event that they love hosting, because it helps bring more people into the Sportsplex that might not normally visit, showing that this is truly the community’s facility.
They have a similar event in October, and Henson says they’re hopeful that one will also be bigger than ever, based on the success of this one. Stay tuned to the Hopkinsville Sportsplex and Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Facebook pages to stay up-to-date on events happening there and in the community.
