Details have been released about a collision that occurred Wednesday afternoon near Cox Mill Road and Pyle Lane that sent a Hopkinsville man to the hospital.
According to the Hopkinsville Police Department collision report, a vehicle driven by Nicholes Cruite of Hopkinsville was heading south on Cox Mill when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole on the left shoulder, snapping the pole. The vehicle overturned onto its roof, sustaining severe damage.
Cruite was found in the backseat. He was removed from the vehicle and transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for multiple injuries.
