The Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Department has a busy week planned, with the next Hoptown Hosedown set for Thursday and Christmas in July on Saturday.
Appearing on WHOP News, Superintendent Toby Hudson says the Hoptown Hosedown events have been a tremendous amount of fun for everyone, from the kids getting sprayed to the Hopkinsville firefighters running the show. He says they’ll be at Riverfront Park at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, and people can stay tuned for the future locations on Facebook.
Then the Christmas in July vendor fair will start at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Planters Bank-Jennie Stuart Health Hopkinsville Sportsplex, where people can get in free to see the over 80 vendors that will be on hand.
Interested parties could have a chance to win a $50 gift card to spend at the event—for more information, visit the Hopkinsville Sportsplex Facebook page.
