The Fourth of July celebrations will soon be underway and that includes in Elkton, as the July 3rd on the Square is set to kick off right around 5:30 p.m.
Courtney Harper with B.R. Knuckles Insurance says they’re excited and ready to celebrate, starting with a children’s bike parade—line up for that is at 5 p.m. and after that, there will be food trucks and live music before the fireworks themselves after dark.
She says the best viewing spots will be around the square, at the Milliken Memorial House and more.
This is the third year for this event, and Harper says they’re happy to bring this event to Elkton and they hope people will come take advantage of the free show.
