The Todd County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision at U.S. 68 and Tress Shop Road.
According to the sheriff’s department, Sgt. David Hutcheson reports that a vehicle driven by William Mayes of Elkton was heading north on Tress Shop and failed to stop at the intersection of U.S. 68 and KY 475. He traveled into the path of Grayson Sizemore of Smiths Grove, and the two collided.
Both Sizemore and a passenger, Cameron Sizemore, were transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment.
Mayes and Courtney Buckley were taken by Todd County EMS to Jennie Stuart for serious injures—50-year-old Wendy Buckley of Pembroke was declared deceased at the scene by Todd County Coroner Timothy Wells.
