The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a shooting from Wednesday night as a homicide.
According to a news release, officers responded to reports of a vehicle that was crashed near the front entrance of Target on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard around 9 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered the driver—a 22-year-old male victim—had a gunshot wound.
He was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.
