The fun continues at the Western Kentucky State Fair Tuesday, with Pennyrile Electric Night and go-kart races in the grandstand.
Attendance has been good the first three nights of the fair and Fair Board Chair Brad Hewell says it’s a little ahead of last year’s pace.
Tuesday brings several livestock shows to the livestock pavilion, rides open at 5 p.m. with unlimited rides armbands at $20 per person, and it is also Pennyrile Electric Day, with Brent Gilkey saying members who bring a coupon can get into the fair for free until 6 p.m.
Go-kart racing takes over the grandstands starting at 7 p.m. and Hewell says a lot of work goes into getting the tracks ready for their numerous events.
The Little Roy and Lizzy show will take place in the air-conditioned convention center at 6 p.m. and then again at 7 p.m. A full schedule of events can be found online at westernkentuckystatefair.org.
